Our training options

Step by Step provides a wide range of computer training and vocational training options for individuals or small groups. All our courses can be customised to meet your individual needs. As a NZQA registered training provider students are able to sit and pass National Unit Standards. Our pass rate is over 90%.

    Step by Step Training runs two workplace health and safety courses that describe and define best practice, particularly in the context of a retail or distribution environment. Each course can be completely individually.

    This course provides assistance for people with low reading ability to learn how to read text. You will learn some basic tips to improve your reading. You will learn how to read and understand advertising, instructions and how to deal with difficulties of reading.

    An essential course for anyone seeking employment in a sales based job. This introductory course will give you the skills and confidence to look after customers and complete a successful sale.

    This course provides skill development for both beginners and individuals wishing to refresh basic accounting and bookkeeping skills through the commonly used Mind Your Own Business programme. Learn to confidently organise and manage accounting information electronically.

  • Databases

    Learn to navigate around Microsoft Access to keep track of day to day tasks, provide reports and sort information. This course is designed to give students knowledge of how to create and use a simple database using Microsoft Access.

    Our Introductory level courses within Internet and Email – gain competence and confidence in web navigation and email communication in just 2 hours per course.
